SPEECH LANGUAGE THERAPY

Speech Language Therapists are skilled in assessing and identifying your child's strength and weaknesses in their verbal and non verbal communication.  The Speech Language Therapist will provide intervention, strategy and advice to enable each child to reach their communication potential.

They will work with your child to:

• Produce speech sounds correctly (Articulation, Phonology, Oral Dyspraxia)
• Understand what is being said (Receptive Language)
• Express themselves more effectively (Expressive Language)
• Develop better listening skills (Auditory Processing)
• Develop social language skills (Pragmatics)
• Process, understand, retrieve and organise their language skills in order to assist learning (Critical Thinking).
